1 cup sour cream or good Greek yogurt.
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese – about 2 ounces
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon Cavender’s Greek seasoning
Cayenne pepper, just a touch – optional
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 avocado, chopped (should equal about 1 1/3 cups)
¼ cup green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoons Italian parsley, chopped
6 pieces applewood smoked bacon, crumbled
1 hard boiled egg, chopped
1 tomato, chopped and drained
Mix sour cream, blue cheese, lemon juice, seasonings, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. You can do this the day before. Just before serving, fold in the onions and parsley. In another bowl mix together gently avocado, egg, tomato, and bacon. Put this mixture on top of the creamy mixture and serve. You can serve with celery sticks or your favorite crackers.
